New Member Announcement: Pleasant View Gardens, Loudon, NH

The New England Lean Consortium is pleased to announce the joining of a new member, Pleasant View Gardens of Loudon, NH. Their business provides starter and finished, saleable plants and flowers to nurseries and large chains, including Lowe’s, The Home Depot, and Wal-Mart.

Their brand names are Proven Winners®, and Proven Selections®.

From their website http://www.pwpvg.com “Whether you are a grower or an independent garden center, we know how much planning it takes each year to select the right varieties, fill your greenhouses or benches, and nurture the plants until they are ready for consumer sales. Ultimately, your success depends on it. That's why at Pleasant View, we start planning years in advance of any growing/retail season and live it every day to assure you are successful and profitable.

Our goal is to provide you with the most innovative selection of branded plant products and to ensure that every one of your experiences with Pleasant View is easy, friendly, successful, and rewarding.

It all starts with the development of Proven Winners® and Proven Selections® varieties, bred to deliver outstanding garden performance, low maintenance, disease-resistance, and season-long color. Consumers nationwide have come to rely on our brands, so you can trust that growing/selling our branded material will yield a healthy profit for your business.”

Today Pleasant View has two facilities covering nearly 30 acres, including 14 acres under cover and 14 acres of outdoor production. They employ more than 120 full-time people and grow to more than 250 people in the busy season. At peak, they produce over 4,000 trays per day.

Please join me in welcoming Pleasant View Gardens into the New England Lean Consortium.
